Our Grants
The Pinnacle Fund recently re-named its Classroom Grant program, The Pinnacle Fund’s Dr. Lorri S. McCune Classroom Grant Program, in honor of Dr. McCune upon her retirement as Superintendent of the PSUSD District. Dr. McCune played a vital role in launching The Pinnacle Fund during her tenure.
In furtherance of its goal, Putting Arts and Technology Back in the Classroom, The Pinnacle Fund, The Foundation for Palm Springs Unified School District, distributed $14,941 in grants to fine arts and technology projects within PSUSD during the 2010- 2011 school year.
In addition to this year’s grants, during the last two years, The Pinnacle Fund has distributed a total of $50,000 in annual teacher and administrator grants to support fine arts and technology in District programs in order to keep students engaged in school and to give them the necessary skills for a productive future in the 21st century.
